What makes a great legacy?

"Actions are louder than words."
Words with no actions mean nothing. Actions without any meaning to it means nothing. Those two things have to go hand in hand. Most people dream about making a change, only a few do it. A legacy is something very important, it can change mankind. Nobody wants to leave this world without having left anything for others to remember them by. Lincoln has a legacy, he changed everyone's life. His actions and words changed the way all races coexist. Words motivate people, words can spark a revolution. Actions bring those words to life. Actions are what makes things happen, what actually makes a plan happen. Without actions words are nothing, and vice versa. Whether those words/actions are good or bad, they change the world. Adolf Hitler left a legacy, a rather bad one. He used words to gather people and he took action on those words, ending millions of innocent lives. Mahatma Ghandi changed the outlook on life with his words. I bet lots of people seriously considered the way they lived after listening to him. I, like most, would like to leave this world knowing I changed something or someone. I have said it, and now I must try and live it also. Words can be blown away and twisted into some thing that's not, but actions send a clear message.
